Following her elimination on Canada's Drag Race: Canada vs. the World, longtime RuPaul's Drag Race star Eureka O'Hara has no plans of returning to the mainstage any time soon.
She shared the sentiment on X (formerly Twitter). "3 mugs and 3 looks still safe!" she wrote in a post alongside images from the show. "I'm done competing I'm ready to live!"
This was the drag star's fourth time competing in a series in the wider Drag Race universe, where she lost a lipsync to Miss Fiercalicious. Her first time competing on the iconic show was in 2017 on RPDR Season 9, then again on Season 10, and then more recently on All Stars 6.
Fans rallied around Eureka. "I believe you have one more season in you mother! If Ginger can come back for All Stars 10, you can comeback for All Stars 11 or 12," wrote one. She responded, "No thank you, I’m ready to enjoy my success in this franchise and focus on my health."
Another fan wrote, "I think you need one more season without all the fear. You deserve a crown. You are one of the best RuGirls ever. Top 5."
Eureka replied, "Maybe one day but not right now."
On Canada vs. the World, Eureka opened up about her struggles with sobriety and health and has previously spoken about her stint in rehab. As a show of love and respect, Eureka's fellow competitiors on CVTW voted her as the "Miss Congeniality" of the season in the finale episode. The award included a $10,000 cash tip, courtesy of Gilead Sciences, a world leader in HIV treatment and prevention.
Season 2 of Canada vs. the World is now streaming on WOW Presents+.
