With the fourth season of American Horror Story in full swing, it was only a matter of time before fans got their first taste of Matt Bomer, who is new to FX’s anthology series.
The actor, who first worked with creator Ryan Murphy on FOX's Glee and later on the HBO adaptation of The Normal Heart, shakes things up with a reportedly “very strange, odd” role on Freak Show.
Since the news was first announced that Bomer was joining Murphy’s world of horror, fans have speculated just who he might play on the series. According to the creator himself, the actor will make his debut in episode five (Wednesday, Nov. 5), the season’s most horrendous hour yet.
Bomer will share the screen with Michael Chiklis, who plays the show’s resident strong man, and Dandy Motts, portrayed by the series’ breakout star Finn Wittrock.
“[He’s in] maybe one of the most disturbing things we've ever done and a true horror scene,” Murphy tells THR.
With that kind of build up, we can’t wait to see what happens next week. Until then, check out your first look at Bomer in what looks to be Twisty the Clown’s hideaway in the woods.
