The Keep A Breast Foundation has teamed up with Rude Records to promote breast cancer awareness through a two-volume Music For Boobies featuring a collection of new, remixed, and previously-released tracks from hot alternative bands and cool collaborations. It's a bit of a global genre sampler, featuring U.S. bands like Arizona rockers, The Maine, space rock super band Angels & Airwaves, and post-hardcore Emarosa; along with international fare like U.K. indie band Alvarez Kings, Italian metal band Lacuna Coil, Canadian rock band Danko Jones, and Danish indie rock duo The Raveonettes.
Founded by Shaney Jo Darden, a former skateboard designer, Keep A Breast has continued to draw younger activists with engaging and participatory public awareness campaigns.
Fifty percent of all proceeds from the compilation will go to support Keep a Breast’s ongoing efforts to empower youth around the world with breast health education and support.
