Would you get lathered up for the internet to fight HIV stigma? On the heels of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge comes another good reason to get wet.

Continuing his goal of raising funds for HIV/AIDS organizations with sexy pics, cyclist Jack Mackenroth challenged his followers to take a shower selfie and post it to social media.

The goal is to raise $1 million for Housing Works, a New York-based nonprofit organization that fights HIV and homelessness.

The challenge is modeled on the highly successful ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, but with a slight twist. Mackenroth teamed up with Moovz to create he Shower Selfie Challenge to fight the stigma of HIV and the common language of negative status as "clean." Since announcing his campaign yesterday, Mackenroth has raised $480.

Participants are asked to take a selfie in the shower (no explicit nudity) and then post the picture to social media with the tag #weareALLclean. Participants then challenge three friends to do the same. Then, on World AIDS Day change all your social media profile pictures to your shower selfie and spread the word about the campaign.

"I was inspired by the use of the word 'clean,' especially common in gay culture, to describe oneself as STI/STD free. Indirectly this implies that HIV-positive people are somehow 'dirty,'" Mackenroth said. "I thought a PG or PG-13 shower selfie or Vine video would be a fun way that everyone could easily show their support for finding a cure by using social media and by using the hashtag #weareALLclean when they post their photo with the link. They then nominate three other people to participate and hopefully donate to the project as well."

The activist says he needs more women in the campaign, too. "I only have two women so far and I want to make sure everyone knows this is for everyone!"

Who could argue with naughty shower selfies for a good cause?

Here's how to do it along with several shots. Can you spot Timothy Ray Brown (the only person ever cured of HIV)?
