Greg Louganis made Olympic history when took the gold in springboard and platform diving competitions in back-to-back Olympic games in 1984 and 1988. During the 1988 Seoul Olympics, Luganis hit his head on the board and suffered a concusion, but recovered and continued the competition. After the games, Louganis revealed he was HIV-positive, resulting in the loss of numerous sponsorships. He left diving, but continued to work as an LGBT and HIV activist. In this interview with The Lip, Louganis discusses his experience coming out as gay and HIV positive, Russia's anti-LGBT laws, and his 2015 documentary Back on Board.
