Ricky Martin delivers showstopping performance for 2024 World AIDS Day

Ricky Martin had attendees shaking their bon-bons!

On Monday, December 2, Ricky Martin headlined the annual World AIDS Day concert from the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) at the Watsco Center at the University of Miami (UM) in Miami, FL.

Even though this was a benefit concert, Martin didn't hold back! Puerto Rican pop star delivered a showstopping performance that included a full setlist of his hit songs — from "Livin' La Vida Loca" (1999) to his Maluma collab "Vente Pa' Ca" (2016). During his performance, Martin praised AHF for the work they've done for nearly four decades and thanked the audience for showing up to this special event.

"I'm here to bring you my story, through music. Lots of highs and lows," Martin said while addressing the audience. "But we're here, standing. And standing strong. I'm ready to have a good time with you. This is my soul for you."

This 2024 edition of AHF's World AIDS Day event featured Dr. Julio Frenk receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award for his work related to expanding access to medications for people living with HIV. Plus, before Martin's concert, DJ Spinderella had the crowd going with a fun set.
